We did it! The incredible features of our Machete inspired us to design a new creek boat. We “recycled” its flat hull and sharp edges, adding even more rocker and ample volume in the rear, making the THP a safe kayak for big water and big drops. Skipping and boofing made dry! Speaking of boofing, getting a kayak with edges as sharp as a machete to boof effortlessly wasn’t easy. But while it slices through water like a bush knife through liana, its central volume package in the rear can launch you into the sky—if you want it to! Control in this creek boat is a breeze; its sensitive characteristics allow for easy corrections without slowing down, and you can turn it on the spot, almost like a half slice.
