As paddlers who design paddles, we understand the importance of reliable gear that stands up to demanding conditions on long wilderness trips. The Expedition Plus is light and balanced, beautifully crafted but tough enough to navigate class I-III whitewater and unpredictable conditions. Handmade in Wisconsin, U.S.A. from closed grain, lightweight and durable hardwoods, the blade is reinforced by a 4 oz. fiberglass wrap and protected with Rockgard® technology all along the blade’s edges and continues over 15 cm up the shaft. Bending Branches’ proprietary Rockgard® resists impact with its shock-absorbing properties and helps maintain the wood’s integrity by sealing against moister and protecting the most vulnerable areas. Blades with Rockgard® last up to 6 times longer than those without.
